The Project June 17 -22

Next week Guy Pearce, Richard Dreyfuss, Kathleen Turner, Jo Koy And Jennifer Keyte lead a big week of The Project.

Starting the week with a bang on The Sunday Project, cinematic icons Richard Dreyfuss and Kathleen Turner are live in studio. Dreyfuss, arguably best-known for Spielberg classics Jaws and Close Encounters, and Turner, who was launched into the spotlight in Romancing the Stone, are in town for Supanova Comic Con events in Sydney and Perth this month.

On Tuesday night American comedian Jo Koy takes a break from his sold out Break The Mold comedy tour to join us at the desk. From humble beginnings at a Las Vegas coffee house, Koy is one of today’s premier stand-up comedians, consistently selling out comedy clubs and theatres across the world with his infectious and explosive energy on stage.

Australian acting royalty Guy Pearce will join the team on Thursday ahead of his new album release, The Nomad. With his three-decade, internationally successful career as an award-winning actor, Pearce’s debut album took fans and critics alike by surprise and the follow up is a collection of deeply personal songs, all written by Pearce, that reflect upon the dramatic changes in his life since releasing Broken Bones in 2014.

Journalist, newsreader and presenter Jennifer Keyte is at the desk on Friday night. Last seen on TEN in 1987, Keyte’s appointment to TEN’s Melbourne news team marks a return to the network that launched her career in broadcast television over 25 years ago.

Plus Hamish Macdonald, Tommy Little, Steve Price, Rachel Corbett, Meshel Laurie, Fifi Box,  Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, Hugh Riminton and Gorgi Coghlan join the panel across the week.

The Project airs 6:30 pm Sunday – Friday on Ten
