The Poject October 27-31

Pamela Stephenson Connolly, Ian “Molly” Meldrum, Mick Molloy, Sam Johnson are all guests on The Project this week.

Writer, actress and clinical psychologist, Pamela Stephenson Connolly, discovered her love of Brazilian dance while performing on the UK television series Strictly Come Dancing. She went on to establish her own dance company to showcase Brazilian dance to the world. Pamela joins us at the desk to talk about her latest production, Brazouka, a mystical dance story from the streets of Brazil, which is currently touring Australia.

Generations grew up with Countdown and Hey, Hey It’s Saturday star and music guru, Ian “Molly” Meldrum. He has helped kickstart the careers of some of the biggest names in music. We speak to Molly about the release of his autobiography, The Never Um…Ever Ending Story, which looks back over an extraordinary, eccentric and action-packed life.

We catch up with inspirational siblings and founders of the Love Your Sister charity, Sam and Connie Johnson. Sam has travelled over 15,000 kilometres around Australia on a unicycle and has raised over $1 million for breast cancer research, the very cancer his brave sister is fighting. Sam and Connie join us to talk about their inspiring and unforgettable story with the release of their book, Love Your Sister.

Funny man and Bowls Australia ambassador Mick Molloy drops by to tell us how the gentleman’s game of lawn bowls has been turned on its head. The new action-packed format for a new generation incorporates the best traditional elements of the sport and mixes them into an adrenaline-fuelled format.

Plus our regulars Steve Price, Gorgi Coghlan, Fifi Box, Todd Sampson, Mike Munro, Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, Meshel Laurie and Waleed Aly join us across the week.
