The Biggest Loser Meet the Families

The Biggest Loser is going back to one of it’s most successful formats this season and judging by the promo below it’s going to be the best season yet.

In the new season of TBL Families, trainers Michelle Bridges, Steve “Commando” Willis, Shannan Ponton and Tiffiny Hall will each be paired with one Aussie family of four, as they work together to shake off bad food and bad habits, and change their lives for the better

Inspired along the way by former TBL finalist and new TBL Families host Fiona Falkiner, the contestants will be coached up the steep road to success by their dedicated trainers.

Michelle Bridges’ red team is a family of blokes from Victoria. The Jofre family consists of three brothers, Pablo, 29, Tony, 27, Daniel, 24, and their uncle, Rob, 42.

The black team is made up of the Auvale family: Johnee, 38, his wife Tenealle, 26, Johnee’s brother Moses, 39, and his wife Rina, 37. The proud Samoan family is from Victoria and will train under Commando.

The blue team is a tight-knit trio of sisters and their father from New South Wales. Under the watchful-eye of Shannan Ponton, the Pestell family consists of Terry, 51, and his daughters Mel, 31, Ali, 30, and Jodie, 30.

Tiffiny Hall is looking after the Hailwood family from Western Australia consisting of three loud and loveable sisters and one of their boyfriends. Sylvia, 28, Kayla, 24, and Sam, 26, are joined by Sam’s partner Cliff, 26, and make up the white team.
