The Biggest Loser March 31 – April 2

Next week on The Biggest Loser, Big Kev goes missing and Sydney Kings basketball team makes an appearance. While the first elimination is an emotional one

Sunday 31 March, 7.30pm
He’s the talk of the nation and has already become one of the most loved reality contestants to hit our screens. With so much weight to lose, we’re not sure why Big Kev is MIA from his training session… but Michelle is determined to find the answer. As two unlucky teams fall below the dreaded yellow line in tonight’s weigh in, Hayley drops a bombshell: only one team member from the other teams will be allowed to vote in the series’ first elimination. Who will put their hand up to vote? Then, Hayley is quick to reveal upfront that this year all contestants will have a chance to fight their way back into the competition. That’s more incentive than ever to train hard on the outside.

Monday 1 April, 7.30pm
We’ve called on none other than the Sydney Kings basketball team to help the contestants sweat out a few more calories. Shane Heal inspires one contestant – who admits his happiest memory is playing basketball at age 12 – before everybody gets together for a “friendly game”. An action-packed session turns into drama when someone takes a tumble and is taken to hospital with a broken wrist. Who’s to blame? Meanwhile, everyone else returns home to The Fridge, whose power gives one team a surprise visit from their family.

Tuesday 2 April, 7.30pm
Last night’s The Fridge winners are joined by their family members for a pre-challenge training session. It’s an emotion reunion, but it’s the reminder and support they need to push themselves to the max. Tonight’s challenge sees the contestants walk out into the manicured gardens of The Biggest Loser: The Next Generation house to find massive coloured barrels full of water and chains to be attached above their heads. The team that can hold the barrels of water above their heads for as long as possible without dumping the water barrel on themselves will win the challenge and immunity.

7:30pm Sunday – Tuesday on TEN.
