The Biggest Loser is going back to basics and this year will have a new host.
Fiona Falkiner who was a contestant in season one of the reality franchise will host the new season when it airs later this year.
Fiona is back to provide inspiration, support and encouragement to the contestants of TBL Families as they embark on their own journey of self-discovery and weight-loss. Having lost 30 kilograms on the show, Fiona proved an inspiration and positive role model to many Australians and has continued to practice the valued lessons and techniques she learned on TBL to maintain her health and happiness.
Fiona said: “TBL changed my life and I’m honoured to be a part of this year’s contestants’ journeys as they transform into healthier, happier people. “It’s been a decade since I was a contestant on TBL. As we prepare for the 10th season, it’s a really nice homecoming for me. I hope to take some of the lessons I learned from TBL and pass them onto the contestants. I’ve been in their shoes and I know anything is possible,” she said.
