The Biggest Loser Episode 7 – Big Kev’s First Big Weigh In

The Biggest Loser Episode 7 – Big Kev’s First Big Weigh In

Let’s kick off another week in The Biggest Loser house.

We review the last few moments of the challenge before we see that Kevin has sustained an injury from it. He decides to spend the day in bed. When some of the teams turn up to last chance training with Michelle, he is the first person she notices missing. She is seeing red. She goes to see Kevin and wonders why he is in bed. He clambers out of the bedroom. Luckily, when Michelle gets there, he is dressed. Michelle is happy that he is motivated to do something. He says looking at pictures of his girlfriend got him out of bed.

Michelle relegates Kevin to the rower where he powers on nicely. At the gym, the grey, green, orange and red team are being trained by the commando. He is pleased with Sam and Jess’ efforts despite their weigh in advantage.

Jess and Todd are given the challenge of making it to 400m on the assisted rower. She clears it with ease. Shannan is training just Cher and Anita today, which is a reward they earned from The Fridge. They are on the beach having to rush an instrument up to the top of a dune in a given time. Looks harder than it sounds! Tears and yelling ensue. Luckily, Shannan is on hand to inspire them.

It’s now time for weigh in. And this time, an elimination will follow!

The first to weigh in are Robyn and Katie of the orange team. Robyn weighed 104.4kg. She now weighs… 98.0kg. That’s a weight loss of 6.4kg. Katie weighed 128.0kg. She now weighs… 1210kg. Last up are Sam and Jess. They need to have lost 12.7kg with their 1kg weight advantage. They are so confident. Well, not Jess! Sam weighed 120.9kg. He now weighs… 116.0kg. That’s a weight loss of 4.9kg. Jess weighed 129.7kg. She now weighs… 123.2kg. That’s a weight loss of 6.5kg. With the advantage, that’s a weight loss of 12.4kg. That’s a percentage of 4.95 per cent, putting them below the yellow line with Richard and Amber.

They’re not too happy. It’s now time to vote. But not everyone will be voting. Only one person from each team will be voting in the elimination room. The people to vote today are: Gerald, Cher, Robyn, Brett, Rosemary, Mark and Kirsten. No one is happy to be voting today. Amber cries- she says she has to be on The Biggest Loser. Richard says he deserves to stay as he is funny and fun loving. Sam rebuts, saying the house doesn’t need humour to get it through. Sam and Jess should stay if they want a challenge. Richard thinks Jess is only here for fame. Jess bursts into tears.

It’s now time to vote. Here’s how it went:

Kirsten: Sam & Jess
Gerald: Sam & Jess
Cher: Richard & Amber
Rosemary: Sam & Jess
Brett: Richard & Amber
Robyn: Sam & Jess
Mark: Did Not Show

Sam & Jess have been eliminated. Sam thinks they’ve made the wrong decision, but that’s it. Sam & Jess are gone!
