Ten has made quick change to next week affecting two key US shows.
Musical drama Empire has been pulled at the last minute in favour of a new NCIS New Orleans on Sunday night .
The double episode will put Australia just 9 days behind US broadcast. Meanwhile Elementary will be replaced by a Law and Order SVU repeat.
Both shows are expected to start in March after a promotional blitz.
