Taite finally gets his single date as the heat rises in the mansion

Tonight on  The Bachelorette two potential suitors were sent home in a big episode.

Scoring the single date, Taite finally made his mark on Ali’s heart after his first solo date was stolen away by Bill.

The date kicked off with an outdoor treasure hunt with their final clue leading to a snow globe containing an intimate picture from their recent photoshoot. Reliving the moment, Taite struck up the courage to kiss Ali and sparks flew.

During the group date, Ali surprised the Bachelors with a visit from her best friend, Jess, and cousin, Bianca. The women got straight down to business, putting each of the Bachelors through a grueling interrogation session.

Ali lamented that she hadn’t listened to her friends in the past, and that she was not going to make the same mistake again.

While the women had no doubt that Ali would find true love, it’s what they had to say about Robert, a man that Ali has developed strong feelings for, that really had Ali questioning her feelings for him.

Jess and Bianca began by asking Robert if he thought anyone in the house weren’t there for the right reasons. Robert made it clear he didn’t appreciate that line of questioning, instead preferring to focus on what he had with Ali.

Robert then turned the tables on Ali’s closest confidents, and asked them whether they believed that Ali had learnt from her past relationship mistakes.

Charlie, on the other hand, had no problems throwing a fellow Bachelor under the bus. When posed with the same question about which guys could be blindsiding Ali, Charlie wasted no time telling the women that Bill has a habit of telling Ali exactly what she wants to hear.

During their debriefing session, the women told Ali that they felt Robert was too intense and emotional in his approach and worried that history would repeat itself if Ali was to pursue anything with him further. Ali was left in complete shock and questioned whether her radar was off, once again.

They believed that Charlie and Ali could have a happy future together, but made mention of Charlie’s issues with Bill. While the women agreed that Bill’s answers matched up perfectly with what Ali wants in her future, they questioned if they too had been fooled by Bill.

At the cocktail party, Ali jumped at the opportunity to chat with Robert. It didn’t take long for Ali to feel lectured as Robert grilled her about whether she had learnt her lessons from past relationships.

Unsurprisingly, Bill and Charlie butted heads after Charlie admitted to throwing Bill under the bus, once again.

When it was time to hand out the roses, Ali paused the ceremony to take Danny outside. Explaining that while she cares for him, she sees him as nothing more than a friend.

With Danny heading home, the rose ceremony continued. Eventually, it is Pete who does not receive a rose, and Robert is left wondering if it’s too late to save his relationship with Ali.
