New rivalries were forged as Group 1 and Group 2 came together for an epic elimination challenge last night.
Every time teams meet at Elimination House, one team will be going home and tonight was no exception. Their fate was decided in two rounds.
In Round 1, judges wanted to be served an Aussie BBQ favourite – but only two teams would be cooking in the first round, one from each group.
Each group had to choose one team to represent them all. Judges suggested they choose a team they could rely on as the winning team would secure safety for their whole group.
Group 1 chose Kim & Suong who cooked Asian Chicken with Barbequed Potato Salad Group 2 chose Georgie & Alicia who cooked a winning Surf and Turf.
The losing team, Kim & Suong, and the rest of Group 1 found themselves in Round 2 in an elimination cook off. They were all asked to cook a dish that represented their culture or a culture they have a strong affinity with.

Alex & Emily’s Chipotle Chicken with Charred Corn and Slaw
Stuss & Steve are in trouble “It wasn’t the Greek food that makes you want more and they become the 3rd team to leave the competition.
On their exit
Stuss: “One of the best rides I’ve had and you know what, I couldn’t have done it with anybody but you pal. You’re a champion!”
Steve: “I’m so glad he convinced me to have a crack at this. This is up there with digging up a 10,000-year-old skeleton. I loved every minute of it. We’re going to leave as even better mates, if that’s possible.”
