So You Think You Can Dance finds it’s Top 14

Last night So You Think You Can Dance was full of surprises.

First off the top six consisted of Urban  dancers Patric Kuo and Yukino McHugh, contemporary dancer Michael Dameski and jazz dancer Zoey Black. as well as contemporary dancer Jordan Turner and urban dancer Nadiah Idris. The judges immediately saved Zoey because they didn’t agree with the public.

This left the bottom 5 to dance for their lives but in having such strong performer the judges couldn’t decide who deserved to be eliminated leaving it up to the public. In the end Jordan and Nadiah  departed the stage.

Nadiah said: “I never thought I’d be given the opportunity to get on something like this. It’s been so unreal and inspiring and I’m driven to keep growing. Thanks to all for your support and believing me.”

A teary Jordan said: “To think that I started dancing four years ago because of this show and now I’m on the stage. It’s been a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with these judges and amazing choreographers. It’s a privilege to have shared this time with the other dancers who are like a second family.”

Jordan and Nadiah say their goodbyes, we welcome the new pairing of contemporary dancer Michael Dameski and jazz dancer Renelle Jones

So You Think You Can Dance Australia. airs Thursdays, 7.30pm on TEN.
