Shark Tank moves to Wednesdays

Ten has moved Shark Tank from Sundays to Wednesdays starting tonight.

The move could only be seen as good move by Ten who are giving the show an earlier timeslot.

The humble Aussie thong gets an ingenious make-over in tonight’s episode of TEN’s hit entertainment series Shark Tank – and one Shark in particular is extremely keen to snap up this impressive idea.

Laidback Aussie surfer and entrepreneur Matthew Gillett is looking for $150,000 for a 40 per cent investment in his product, 2Shu. A pair of thongs that neatly converts into enclosed shoes, 2Shu is the perfect invention for people who want to go straight from the beach to somewhere more formal without having to change their footwear.

One of the Sharks is so impressed by this practical fashion statement that they make a bid that goes far beyond anything Matthew was expecting.

A West Australian inventor with a bespoke guitar business has a pitch for the Tank, but do the Sharks think he is too successful to require investment?

Sorting the good ideas from the bad are Australia’s own Sharks: technology pioneer Steve Baxter, Boost Juice founder Janine Allis, The Vento Group founder Andrew Banks, RedBalloon founder Naomi Simson and Petbarn/Greencross Australia founder Dr Glen Richards.

These self-made multi-millionaires are ready to spend their money and invest in the ideas of everyday Australians, young and old, who dare to dream big.

8:40 pm tonight on Ten
