Nine travel series Postcards (Victoria) celebrates its 15-year anniversary this Sunday with a special episode.

Host Rebecca Judd travels three hours from Melbourne to Moama – Echuca and finds Perricoota Station, a Victorian homestead that is traditionally decorated, offering spectacular views and sleeping 24 people. For the perfect venue space for a party in the region she discovers The Packing Shed. Local yabbies are a delicacy of this brand new eatery, which can cater for up to 250, is open for lunch and dinner, and also breeds and raises its own Angus beef at Perricoota.

Glen Moriarty checks out the best private dining rooms in our city. Grossi Florentino in Bourke Street has a new upstairs dining area. Rosetta, riverside at Crown, is Neil Perry’s latest restaurant and has a glamourous private dining space as does Donovans in St Kilda, the perfect beach location.

Brodie Harper looks at three iconic spaces around Melbourne to hold a party. She heads to Royal Botanic Gardens in the heart of the CBD to find the Old Melbourne Observatory and then to The National Gallery of Victoria. Plus she discovers The Old Treasury Building on Spring Street illustrates Renaissance Revival architecture and is regarded as one of the finest 19th century buildings in Australia, with plenty of gorgeous and sophisticated spaces for your next event or party.

Shane Crawford catches up with some of Melbourne’s finest caterers, including Peter Rowland Catering, which has clocked up more than 50 years in the industry. Shane then heads to Richmond to meet The Big Group catering company, known for its dramatically designed events which can be styled to just about any theme.

Lauren Phillips finds the best flowers at Pollon in Flinders Lane and the prettiest party invitations at Zetta Florence in Brunswick. She also discovers the most delicious macaron cakes at Luxbite on Toorak Road in South Yarra.
