Former Royal family butler Paul Burrell and reality television queen Vicky Pattison are the newest celebrities to land in the South African jungle.
They met last nigt a short distance from the rest of the camp. Paul and Vicky were pleasantly surprised to greet one other, but with no idea of what is to come, how will the rest of the celebrities react when the Royals burst into camp tonight
Former butler to the Royal family, Paul is widely known as the trusted personal assistant and confidante to the late Diana, Princess of Wales. Since retiring, Paul has published two best-selling books and is a regular Royal family spokesperson in the media. In 2004, Paul featured in the UK version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, placing third. Determined to let Australia see a different side to him, will this be Paul’s second chance at winning?
Before going into the jungle, Paul said: “It is such a long time since I did it in the UK and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am competitive, I love people and I love the camaraderie that builds between the people there. That’s what I’m used to from my Royal world.”
Vicky is an English television and media personality, best known for her three years on the reality series Geordie Shore. In 2015, Vicky appeared in the UK version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and was proudly crowned Queen of the Jungle. With one success already under her belt, will Vicky be able to take out the Australian crown?
On entering the jungle, Vicky said: “When I did this last time, I discovered the type of person I want to be. You have so much time to reflect and you can easily see qualities you love in yourself, but you can also see things that you want to work on. I need to take myself out of this superficial world for a bit and reset.”
Will Paul and Vicky receive a warm welcome, or will they be too refreshed, rested and well-fed for the original celebrities to handle?
