In the run to the NRL finals, the 10-time Logie Award-winning NRL Footy Show will return to its traditional night of Thursday from next week on Channel Nine.
“We are thrilled to be ‘coming home’ to Thursday nights as we make the run into one of the most exciting finals series in memory. I’m sure our fantastic and loyal viewers will be just as excited,” Glenn Pallister, Executive Producer of The NRL Footy Show, said today.
For the rest of the 2016 season, hosts Paul “Fatty” Vautin, Erin Molan, Darryl Brohman and Beau Ryan will keep you entertained and informed, along with guest appearances from NRL superstars Johnathan Thurston, Paul Gallen, Sam Thaiday and James Maloney, and new episodes of Footy Show favourites Small Talk with The Big Marn, Tommy’s Tirade and Player Probe.
The NRL Footy Show has also announced it will adopt a carnival theme when the Grand Final Footy Show goes under the “Big Top” at North Sydney Oval on Thursday, September 29.
With the entire broadcast under the “Big Top” marquee on the famous sporting venue, the NRL Footy Show will host a blockbuster night of entertainment to cap off its 23rd year on air.
Both Grand Final teams will be on hand for their final appearance together before kick-off in this season’s NRL Premiership decider.

Glenn Pallister, Executive Producer, is embracing the carnival atmosphere the Grand Final Footy Showis set to create.

“This promises to be one of the best atmospheres we’ve ever had at a Grand Final Footy Show.Everything will be up close and personal for not only the people under the Big Top, but for the audience at home too.
“Apart from the mega entertainment lineup we have a few surprises up our sleeve. It will be a ripper.”
The Footy Show Awards will return along with the infamous Player Revue featuring NRL players present and past, before one lucky audience member takes centre stage on North Sydney Oval and attempts to slot a field goal to win $30,000 thanks to Sportsbet.com.au.
