Nine will screen the final round of FIA World Rally Championship this weekend.
The final WRC round for 2017 will be staged across the Coffs Coast in New South Wales from Friday to Sunday, with Nine’s Wide World of Sports hosting a 90-minute program live from the final forest stage at 1.00pm on Sunday, plus daily highlights and preview and review programs.
While the 2017 WRC Champion has been crowned, with Frenchman Sebastien Ogier claiming the title, the race is still on for second and third in the championship, as well as a Rally Australia win in one of the toughest events on the calendar. It presents a testing mix of challenges in both fast and technical stages, from forests and gravel roads to the open countryside.
Molly Taylor, the reigning Australian Rally Champion and number one female rally driver in the world, will take on the cream of competition. Can she outfox her rivals on her home turf? One thing is certain: this weekend’s finale of the FIA World Rally Championship will take viewers on one hell of a ride on Nine.
