Nine Reveals Ashes Broadcast details

One of sporting’s biggest rivalries is about to heat up again when Australia takes on England for the Ashes

This winter catch every ball, every run and every wicket in one of the most intense and enduring sporting rivalries of all time when The Ashes, live in prime time, screen on free-to-air television and in high definition on GEM 

The Nine Network’s live broadcast of Australia’s tour of England will include The Ashes Test Series, one Twenty20 International and the One Day International Series between Australia and England. Nine’s expert commentary team will feature Mark Taylor, Ian Healy, Michael Slater, Shane Warne, Brett Lee, Michael Vaughan and David “Bumble” Lloyd.

“There is always something extra special about an Ashes series in England,” said Brad McNamara, Nine’s Executive Producer of Cricket “We’re thrilled to be going back to the UK with our own expert team covering The Ashes for the first time since 1977.”
