Sydney student Cassie received her long-awaited single date with Bachelor Nick Cummins last night.
After spending weeks patiently waiting, Cassie could not contain her excitement when it was revealed she had been chosen for an adrenaline-filled date with the Honey Badger.
Pulling up in a vintage yellow school bus, Nick was excited to see if the friendship shared with Cassie before they entered the mansion would be able to progress into a relationship. Impressed by Cassie’s energy, Nick and Cassie sought some thrills at Wet n’ Wild for a day of pulse-raising fun.
With the theme park all to themselves, Cassie and Nick started the date with a stomachchurning free-fall from a 76 meter high sky-coaster before spending the afternoon water slide hoping.
Later, the pair shared a romantic candlelit drink by the water, where Cassie questioned Nick on his feelings towards her. Telling Cassie that he is drawn to her glow, Nick reassured her of their genuine connection with a kiss and a rose.
On the group date, the ladies laced up their hiking boots and prepared to shed some emotional baggage Teaming up with a transformation coach, the bachelorettes and Nick were tasked with carrying a backpack labelled with a personal trait that had burdened their past relationships through an obstacle course.
Still nursing a leg injury, an apprehensive Jamie-Lee decided not to participate in the challenge and feared it could jeopardise her relationship with Nick.
Testing their communication and teamwork skills, the squad completed a gruelling obstacle course that saw them trek through a river, share a heavy log with a partner and work as a team to upscale a wall in a muddy field.
When the challenge was done and dusted, Nick invited Dasha to spend some special one on-one time with him.
Surprised to see Dasha had pointed her perfectionist ways as baggage, Nick was impressed by her ability to get down and dirty on the obstacle course. Joining him for a moonlit drink, Dasha told Nick it was endearing to see a different side of him and applauded his unwavering commitment to helping the bachelorettes on the obstacle course.
Even though Nick and Dasha both felt a connection, Dasha left the date without a rose and questioned whether their spark had finally fizzled out.
