New Big Bang Theory heads to Tuesdays on Nine

Nine returns The Big Bang Theory  to screens next week.

These episodes started in the US on September 21 putting Australia exactly two weeks behind the US.

Returning  are Big Bang favorites Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (multi-award winner Jim Parsons), Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch).

The season nine launch of The Big Bang Theory ranked as the No.1 program in the USA, attracting 18.2 million viewers, up 3.6 million on the series eight finale.

In the first episode, despite complicated relationships in the past Leonard and Penny have finally become engaged, but on their way to Las Vegas to get hitched Leonard slips a secret that could jeopardise everything. Even Sheldon has found a female companion – entering into a “relationship agreement” with neurobiologist Amy Farrah Fowler. But it doesn’t take long for Amy to realise that while Sheldon might have a genius-level IQ, he is completely clueless when it comes to taking the next step.
