Tonight, Neighbours airs a very different type of episode, with the focus on only one storyline.
The episode features just four characters – Steph Scully (Carla Bonner), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morely), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) and Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) – as they endure an unexpectedly awkward glamping trip together.
It’s awkward enough given that both couples – Jack & Steph and Paige & Mark – have had a complicated relationship history together, although they are now on all good terms. But, since Jack and Paige slept together on the night of Toadie’s party, there’s tension in the air as they try to act as if they hadn’t cheated on their partners.
It’s definitely going to be an unforgettable camping trip, but for all the wrong reasons. The scene is set for an uncomfortable meeting when Paige and Jack unexpectedly come face to face at the campsite; their partner’s oblivious to the continually rising tension.
Then, the situation takes a turn when Steph unintentionally overhears a conversation not meant for her ears, as the truth about Jack and Paige slowly begins to come out. How will Steph react?
Meanwhile, Mark has a romantic surprise in store for Paige. How will the night end?
Without giving too much away, Series Producer Jason Herbison has written a dynamic script that will have fans on a rollercoaster of emotions through the many twists and turns that span the entire episode.
With the sole focus on this ever-present love square, each actor shins in their scenes for this unmissable night of drama. The cast involved give a dynamic performance and their hard work shines through an episode that will go down in Neighbours history.
