Tonight, Neighbours fans are invited to another Ramsay Street wedding, and it’s one you can’t miss.
The wedding, of course, is between Mark (Scott McGregor) and Elly (Jodi Anasta), who haven’t had an easy road to the altar, to say the least. Just in the last week, Mark has gone bush after Sonya’s death, calling off the wedding, leaving Elly to find comfort with Mark’s sister Chloe (April Rose Pengilly), which leads to a drunken night of passion. Only in Erinsborough!
Although Elly is wracked with guilt about sleeping with his sister, her love for Mark is stronger, and when he returns home begging her for another chance, she says yes and the wedding is officially back on.
Even though Elly’s chosen to continue with the wedding and her relationship with Mark, Chloe still feels like there is hope for them. Turning to Aaron (Matt Wilson) for some much-needed advice, she doesn’t get the response she needs when Aaron is shocked at the revelation – what do you say when your sister admits to have slept with your brother’s fiancé less than a week before the wedding?
Chloe makes one last attempt at convincing Elly to call off the wedding, but she rejects her plea and heads to the altar to marry Mark.
But, in typical Neighbours fashion, the day isn’t going to go as planned – could this secret destroy everything before anyone says ‘I Do’?
