To celebrate two years of production Million Dollar Minute is bring back some famous faces for a showdown.
Returning for a second chance at quiz show glory are nine past contestants who will compete head-to-head over a series of nights on Million Dollar Minute. The winners will earn a place in the grand final Champion of Champions episode against the quizmaster himself, Andrew Skarbek.
Andrew Skarbek remains the biggest cash winner in the history of Australian television and says he is ready to battle it out against the best contestants Million Dollar Minute can throw at him. “My reputation is on the line,” Andrew said. “The pressure is on and I’ll have to be at my very best, but I’m up for the challenge.”
Andrew answered 589 questions during 23 compelling episodes in March 2015 to claim the ultimate jackpot and become Million Dollar Minute’s first millionaire. Andrew will play on behalf of a home-viewer who can win a cash prize of up to $100,000 in the grand final episode .
The Million Dollar Minute favourites coming back to compete include single mum, Lisa Paton, former band member of The Models, Pierre Sutcliffe, and stellar ‘quiz kid’ Jonathan Somic.
Million Dollar Minute’s Champion of Champions battle commences Monday, June 15 at 5.30pm on Seven.
