Last night  tensions flared between the boys and girls in camp; Vicky Pattison, Simone Holtznagel, Peter Rowsthorn and Josh Gibson were chosen for the trial  TEN Eyewitness News First At Five Sydney Presenter Sandra Sully delivered Jungle News to the celebrities.

After living together for over one month, the celebrities are no longer happy campers and tempers flared between the boys and girls, dividing the camp in two. Jackie Gillies offered to help Danny Green cook, but he ignored her and then shut down the idea immediately.

In the  trial, Balls Of Steel, the celebrities were strapped into human-size balls, given an item of food to hold and rolled down a hill. The challenge was to deliver the food unscathed or they would have to retrieve their star from a very feisty snake, known for biting former contestant Bernard Tomic six times.

Vicky was given a chocolate cake to hold but it did not take long before it was splattered all over her. To win stars for camp, Vicky braved the snake and successfully wrangled the star from the box, despite a few bites to her hand.

The celebrities walked into camp to find a box waiting for them, Sandra Sully inside. Sandra was well received by the celebrities, who were eager to hear news from home and around the world.

Shannon Noll received a health update from his good friend Johnny Ruffo and learnt his daughter had placed second in her gymnastics competition, while Danny was told his daughter had been selected for the Australian junior open water swimming team.

Later in the show, hosts Dr. Chris Brown and Julia Morris announced that former AFL champion Josh Gibson was the sixth celebrity to be voted out of the jungle.

Josh faced his fears from the very start when he was forced to partake in a gorge swing of terrifying proportions, alongside campmates Peter and Simone. He took part in an impressive eight trials, with the most memorable being The Grossery Store and Big Babies, where he devoured an ostrich anus and had to dress up in a diaper.

Around camp, Josh flourished as chef, opened up about his football career and shared details about his personal life. He formed close bonds with Peter, Danny and Shannon, and successfully completed two in-camp challenges. While they tried to downplay a jungle romance, Josh and Simone sent the rumour mill into overdrive with their cuddling, chemistry and affectionate nicknames for one another.
