In what can be considered a nail biting episode of The X Factor last night the grand finalists were announced.
After performances by Imagine Dragons, Tina Arena and Little Mix it was time to get down to business. Fan favourites Dami Im and teen sensation Jai Waetford were put straight through to the grand finale. Leaving Ronan Keating’s Taylor Henderson and Natalie Bassingthwaighte’s Third D3gree.were forced to battle it out for the last remain spot for the Grand Finale.
After Henderson preformed the classic Stand by Me Third D3gree closed the battle with Beyoncé’s global hit, Crazy in Love it was time to vote each mentor kept the faith with their chosen finalist with Ronan choosing to ditch Third D3Gree and Nat following suit by handing Henderson his marching orders. Danni Minogue decided to keep Third D3gree and after much deliberation Redfoo decided to follow his gut and send it to deadlock by choosing to rescue Taylor. In the end the public were given the final choice and they chose Taylor to take the final spot in Sunday’s grand finale.
On Sunday when the first of the two night grand finale kicks off viewers will be treated or tortured to a performance by One Direction. Katy Perry and Guy Sebastian are on stage Monday Night before the winner is crowned.
The X Factor Finale kicks off Sunday 6:30 PM on Seven with the winner announced 7:30 Monday.
