The contestants have been renovating Jane & Plinio’s house all week, but will all their hard work pay off?
The contestants are now accepting a swathe of deliveries as reveal day fast approaches. Michelle & Steve are still beat up over their wallpaper problem. They’re still going to use it, despite the tear. Meanwhile, Jemma and Ben’s blinds are being fit but the woman says it can’t work due to a cupboard near the window. They try getting another set of blinds, but nothing is in stock that could work.
Meanwhile, Ben is trying to do his skirting boards, but it isn’t work either. Steve finally cracks under the stress. Michelle is on hand to comfort him. They decide against using wallpaper.
To Carly & Leighton and they are now trying to sort out their lounge. Amy is struggling with a design for a paint-on blackboard. During the rush, Ben manages to break a picture. Less than two hours to go.
Michelle & Steve are yet to finish their wall and now Michelle is on the war path. Meanwhile, Jane & Plinio are on their way home. Johanna comes in to check on their progress.
The finishing touches are now being made. Nick & Chris then do the unthinkable- crack their marble.
Soon enough, time is up. It’s now time for the judges- Joe & Wendy. First up for judging is Nick & Chris. The judges call their wall design interesting. Wendy loves the lighting in the hallway but not the painting. They move to the lounge and they think they’ve fit the brief. They don’t notice the cracked marble. The last room in the zone is the dining room. Joe loves the table and the lights. Wendy calls the choice in table smart.
Carly & Leighton are next. The judges go to the kitchen. Wendy loves the splashback. The island bench top is a hit. They’re not so sure about the couch or the lounge room at all.
To Jemma & Ben, who had Jarra’s room, the laundry and the toilet. The laundry is first The judges call it a great laundry. They don’t get the orange splashback. To the bedroom and Jemma & Ben admit to not following the rules. The judges don’t like the bedroom, saying it is for an older person.
The judges notice that Jemma & Ben didn’t finish the toilet. The judges weren’t wowed by any room in the zone.
Amy & Sean are next for judging. To Nina’s room and Joe calls it cute and Wendy calls it clever. They think they’ve put a lot of thought into it. To the bathroom. Wendy isn’t sure about the low bench.
Now to Michelle & Steve’s master bedroom, hallway and study nook. Wendy & Joe like the picture in the hallway. They love the study nook. To the master bedroom and the colour palate is a hit however the size of the bedside table is not favoured.
It’s now time for the scores.

NICK & CHRIS – 8 + 7 = 15
JEMMA & BEN – 5 + 4 = 9
CARLY & LEIGHTON – 6 + 6 = 12

Now, it’s time for Jane & Plinio to inspect the house. They love the entrance and the kitchen. They would have liked more seating in the lounge. They love how Michelle & Steve kept the door jam with the heights on them. Plinio notices Steve’s wall. Unlike the judges, they do notice the cracked marble. They’re not sure about the textures in the living area. They actually like the yellow laundry splashback. The lack of blinds in Jarra’s room is disappointing.
They love the bathroom and Nina loves her room. Here are the updates scores with Plinio & Jane’s input.
