House Husbands begins filming

Nines hit drama House Husbands starts filming its second season this week.

Everyone’s favourite House Husbands – Justin (Firass Dirani), Lewis (Gary Sweet), Kane (Gyton Grantley)
and Mark (Rhys Muldoon) – are gearing up to begin production on season two of the popular series this week in
Melbourne.
Also returning for another season of trials, tribulations and adventures are Julia Morris, Natalie Saleeba, Tim
Campbell and Leah de Neise, plus Anna McGahan and Georgia Flood

In 2013 several new faces are joining the action, with special guests Craig McLachlan (Rescue: Special Ops),
Madeline West (Underbelly), Geraldine Turner (Home and Away) and Rick Donald (Underbelly: Razor) all set to
bring new characters to life in the hit drama.

Heads of Drama for the Nine Network, Jo Rooney and Andy Ryan, said: “We are thrilled to have House
Husbands returning for a second season.
“With such a strong cast and some great names joining the series, we’re excited to be providing more fantastic
local drama for our viewers.”

Executive Producer David Maher said: “It’s great that Australians have embraced the House Husbands and their
families and we’re looking forward to bringing another season of heart-warming Aussie drama to the screen.”
In series two, chaos descends upon the home of Lewis (Gary Sweet) as Phoebe (Georgia Flood) and her new
baby Jem settle in. Justin (Firass Dirani) and Nicola (Leah de Niese) pick up where they left off getting their family
back together. Kane (Gyton Grantley) and Tom (Tim Campbell) follow their dream of expanding their family, while
Mark (Rhys Muldoon) and Abi (Natalie Saleeba) try to adjust after swapping roles in the household.
