Confident siblings Georgie & Alicia, NSW (Group 2) faced cocktail couple Alex & Emily, QLD (Group 1) in an elimination cook off last night.
Georgie & Alicia served up an Entrée: Miso Caramel Pork Belly with Spiced Edamame and Pickled Radish Main: Tuna, Mushrooms, Sprouts and Broth and ended the night with a Dessert: Sake Poached Nashi Pear with Soy Milk Ice Cream.
Alex and Emily served up an Entrée: Lobster Tail with Tarragon and Vermouth Butter Main: Lamb Backstrap with Kale, Onion Puree and Port Jus and Dessert: Rosemary & Balsamic Figs with Caramel and Ricotta
After 3 rounds Alex and Emily defeated confident sisters Georgie & Alicia with a score of 131 while the siblings scored 108.
On their departure Alicia: “I am so proud of Georgie. I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else and anyone else who would put up with me. We’re really, really ecstatic about where this journey has taken us.”
