Foxtel invites Presto subscribers to join Foxtel Play

Ahead of Presto closing in January  Foxtel has revealed its plans for Presto subscribers

Presto subscribers are invited to come and see what Foxtel Play has to offer with a two week free trial to Foxtel Play. The free trial is accompanied by three months of special pricing offered exclusively to Presto subscribers*.

Following the free trial, Presto subscribers will be able to subscribe to Foxtel Play’s Pop and Movies tiers for $15 per month for three months, discounted from its normal price of $35 per month, for a $60 saving over three months.

Foxtel’s move offers Presto subscribers a much more comprehensive selection of programming than their existing service. As Foxtel Play subscribers with the pop and movies tiers, they will have access to a vast collection of the most current movies available from all of the major Hollywood studios as well as a host of the most recent TV series, with many broadcast ‘Express from the US’; plus access to a constantly growing on demand library.

The Pop tier includes a raft of Foxtel’s most popular channels, with programs never before seen on Presto, including showcase, offering HBO’s critically acclaimed drama such as Game of Thrones (every episode), Westworld and Insecure, plus the newest series of Foxtel originals as they premiere like A Place to Call Home, Wentworth and more. The Pop tier also includes the Binge. channel featuring complete seasons of popular programs including True Blood, Bitten, and Beauty and the Beast; FX, with the latest seasons of The Walking Dead, The Exorcistand The Last Ship, plus programming from FOX8, SyFy, MTV, and the Comedy Channel.

Subscribers will also have access, on demand, to the upcoming special event, Home and Away: Revenge, with Dan Ewing and Lisa Gormley reprising their roles as Heath and Bianca Braxton.

 

The movies tier features all of Foxtel’s movie channels airing the best in action, comedy, romance, family, thriller and world movies. Key highlights include Deadpool, Steve Jobs, Jurassic World, Spectre, Zoolander 2 and The Finest Hours; plus, Foxtel’s popular pop-up movies channels including the upcoming ‘12 Days of Christmas’ pop-up showcasing all-time holiday hits; and the ‘Best of 2016’ pop-up, slated for December and January.

The offer follows new pricing and packaging for Foxtel Play that kicked off earlier this month, and features five different entry level tiers to match viewers’ interests including Drama and Pop packs priced at $15 per month each or $25 for both, plus Lifestyle, Documentary and Kids packs for $10 each per month.

In addition, customers can take the Movies tier for an additional $20 per month; and the Sports tier for an extra $29 per month~. The Sports tier features the best in live sport from 12 dedicated sports channels featuring every game from the NRL, AFL, Super Rugby, A-League, NBL as well as every race, practice and qualifying session of Formula 1 and V8s.

Foxtel Play customers can enjoy their programming via eligible Samsung, Sony and LG Smart TVs, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 & 4, selected Samsung Blu-Ray and home theatre systems, PC and Mac computers and Telstra TV.

Foxtel Play customers also have access to all live and on demand content from the channels in their subscription on selected smart phones and tablets by downloading the Foxtel Go^ app at no extra cost.
