eran performer Denise Drysdale has quit Celebrity Splash ahead of the show’s final episode.
Drysdale, who was due to dive in an adjusted semi-final component of the Grand Final, told News Limited, “I am just too old to get hurt.
“I have come into the pool every day and felt sick in the stomach and I just thought, ‘I don’t think I can do it.’
“I feel fantastic, now I’ve made a decision.”
Drysdale said she realised her ‘pin-drop’ dive wouldn’t be good enough for judges in the Finals.
“On the land I had fun. In the water I had none.”
Her exit follows Laura Csortan quitting the show before the premiere due to an injury . This week Seven dumped plans for its second semi-final and bumped the Grand Final to 8:45pm this Thursday.
