CSI: Cyber, the latest addition to the highly successful crime-fighting franchise now has a launch date.
The series has just 13 episodes in it’s first season and has just recently been renewed for a second season.
Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette (Boyhood, Medium) leads an all-star cast as Special Agent Avery Ryan, head of the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI.
Also featuring James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek) and Peter MacNicol (Ally McBeal), CSI: Cyber follows the search for criminals that operate on the dark net, a place deep in the bowels of the web where offenders are anonymous, money is untraceable and everything is for sale with just a keystroke.
In the premiere episode, Special Agent Avery Ryan (Arquette) and her team of FBI cyber analysts investigate a case of hacked baby monitors, leading them to an international kidnapping operation.
