Channel Ten calls the cops on Mondays

Channel Ten continues to offers a point of difference to the reality shows on Seven and Nine.

At 7:30 Monday  Ten will launch it’s brand new observational series Gold Coast Cops which will be narrated by Samuel Johnson.

In the action-packed premiere of Gold Coast Cops, we meet Commander Jim Keogh and the other elite, hand-picked, police officers who form the Rapid Action and Patrols Group taskforce (RAP). Established after the infamous Broadbeach bikie brawl in September 2013, the taskforce strives to combat organised crime and keep Australia’s number one holiday destination safe from harm

In tonight’s episode, the team discovers home-made explosives hidden in the car of a Hell’s Angels member. A suspicious secret “stash” is also uncovered and a stolen car triggers a thrilling high-speed chase involving four police cars and a chopper.

Continuing with the police theme at 8PM will be Territory Cops.   Territory Cops takes a behind the scenes look into Australia’s busiest police force. This action-packed series shows there is much more to see in the Northern Territory than just Uluru.

It is a nerve-wracking stake-out for Detective Senior Sergeant Kenny Bradshaw and Constable Tim Hatton who wait patiently at Katherine Airport, set to swoop on suspected remote community drug runners who are flying out of the town.

Senior Constable Sean Stanley and Probationary Constable Warwick Baldwin are enjoying a typical night shift when they are called to a bizarre road accident involving a particularly aggressive, highly intoxicated and completely nude driver. As the man begins to spit at police officers, it is clear that he is not only leaving little to the imagination, but very little room for negotiation.
