Tonight’s the night Neighbours fans have been waiting for- when a new regular has their past finally filled in.
Ever since he arrived on Ramsey Street in May, Cassius Grady (Joe Davidson) has been the hunky gardener everyone wants to be with, but over the past few weeks his secrets have started to surface in flashbacks.
Cassius has been seen taking a suspicious phone call in which he defended his decision to stick around in the area for longer than he’d originally planned in July, having fallen in love with Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel). Since then, flashbacks showed he saved Piper when she was stranded in in the bush in November. Last night revealed that he saved Paige’s (Olympia Valance) baby Gabe and safely returned him after he was kidnapped in last year’s gripping season finale.
As tonight’s episode opens, Cassius is still reeling from the surprise text from his mother saying she’s in town- and when mother and son are finally reunited, all of his biggest lies will come crashing down, and fans will finally get much needed answers to long burning questions. While I can’t reveal anything beyond that, I will say that by episode’s end the things we discover will have a lasting impact as it now becomes a case of how long can Cassius keep his secrets hidden.
Joe Davidson deserves a shoutout for his excellent acting in this must-see episode that will have you talking long after the credits roll.
