Network Ten returns to The Mountain this weekend for the highly anticipated Supercars Supercheap Auto 1000.

One of the biggest events on the Australian sporting calendar, all eyes will be on the grid when the Supercars hit the tarmac under race conditions on Sunday at 11.00am AEDT.

This year’s race will celebrate the King of the Mountain, Peter Brock, on the tenth anniversary of his death in 2006. With nine Bathurst victories, nine Sandown wins and 37 ATCC victories to his name, Brock is without a doubt one of the greatest sporting heroes Australia has ever seen.

Also in action this weekend are the Harvey Norman Supergirls. Swiss IndyCar driver Simona De Silvestro and Australia’s Renee Gracie will return will return to The Mountain ahead of De Silvestro’s full-time Supercars debut in 2017.

TEN Sport’s Matt White will lead the Network Ten commentary team, alongside former Supercars driver and expert commentator Mark Larkham, current Nissan Motorsport Supercars driver Rick Kelly, Family Feud host Grant Denyer, TEN Sport’s Mark Howard and rev-head model Kate Peck.

On the anniversary of the great Peter Brock’s death, can fan-favourite Craig Lowndes take out his seventh Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 victory and confirm his status as one of the all-time greats of the sport?
