Last night My Kitchen Rules served up it’s the first elimination of the season.
This year sees the introduction of the elimination house. the house will be the scene for sudden death cook offs this year; in previous years, these cook offs had taken place at Kitchen HQ.
Colin returned to mentor Ash and Matty and Stella and Jazzey as they went head to head in a sudden death cook off. Pete and Manu were joined by the Group 2 teams who helped decide who would go home.
Ash and Matty served up a three couse meal that consisted of an Entrée: Corn Fritters with Avocado Salsa Main: Falafels with Yoghurt Flatbread and Garlic Sauce and Dessert: Frangipani Pie
Stella and Jazzy served up Entrée: Prawn Saganaki Main: Salmon with Roast Vegetables and Lemon Salsa and Dessert: Buttermilk Jelly with Grilled Mango
After 3 rounds, Stella & Jazzey scored 103 points while Ash & Matty were behind on just 67.
Ash said, “It’s been a helluva ride, perfect choice of partner even though he can’t cook. I still wouldn’t choose anyone else. I could have but that wouldn’t have been fun. It’s the most amazing experience we could ever have asked for.”
Tonight the judges become the judged when Tasmania where truffle farmer Henry & sister Anna cook kicking off Group 2.
