Ally Fowler returns to Neighbours

Ally Fowler is returning to Neighbours but not as her original character.

This is Ally’s second time on the nightly drama series after appearing in 1986 as Zoe Davis, a former flame of the villainous Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).

Fast forward 30 years and Ally is back on Ramsay Street in a different guest role, playing Nene Williams. But Nene is also a blast from Paul’s playboy past and the duo’s short-lived romance resulted in the birth of their daughter Amy (Zoe Cramond). Nene immediately ruffles feathers when she sets her sights on one of Ramsay Street’s happily married residents.

Network Ten Drama Executive, Claire Tonkin, said: “From her first moments on Ramsay Street, this character promises intrigue, secrets and lots of drama. It’s a real treat to welcome Ally Fowler back to Neighbours to bring this complex character to life.”

Neighbours Executive Producer, Jason Herbison, said: “I’m very excited to bring Ally back to Neighbours. It’s been 30 years since she was a regular on the show. While she is playing a different character this time, I’m sure fans will enjoy her role and the fact that she will again lock horns with Paul Robinson.”

Ally said: “It’s not difficult to go full circle on Neighbours. The writers are very clever with the way that they can link people together. I love being back with Stefan again, we’re having a lot of fun.”

Ally will return to screens on Monday, 29 February at 6.30pm on Ekeven .
