Alexander England joins Offspring

Is  Nina about to get another love interest on Offspring?

The answer is probably with Alexander England to the cast of Offspring, in the role of Harry Crewe.

Viewers will meet Harry when St Francis Hospital finds itself at the centre of a public relations crisis. As the hospital’s Crisis and Culture Manager, Harry is brought in to manage the situation.

Harry is a man who takes his job, and himself, seriously. He immediately puts Nina offside but as both Harry and Nina will learn, first impressions are not always what they seem.

Network Ten Head of Drama, Rick Maier, said: “This fantastic ensemble continues to attract the most accomplished actors in the country and Alexander is a very welcome addition. His character Harry arrives at a time of crisis and very quickly finds himself in the eye of a storm at St Francis. Like all of us, he must wonder just what he’s let himself in for.”

Producer, Endemol Shine Banks, Imogen Banks, said: “I think it’s fair to say that everyone who meets Alexander either wants to be him, or to be with him. He’s that kind of man. We are so thrilled he said yes to joining the gang.”

Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts, Alexander has garnered numerous television credits including appearances in Wild Boys, Tricky Business, Rake and Network Ten’s Mr and Mrs Murder, plus the films Gods Of Egypt and Down Under.

Alexander played James Packer in 2012’s Paper Giants: Magazine Wars, followed by the role of Clyde Packer alongside Offspring co-star Lachy Hulme in Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch StoryAlexander also starred as legendary cricketer Tony Greig in the award-winning Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War and most recently appeared in The Beautiful Lie.

Alexander will debut in Offspring on Wednesday, 27 July at 9pm on Ten
