AFL Win All Star Family Feud

All Star Family Feud kicked off  with the AFL team captained by Barry Hall scoring a convincing victory over Wendell Sailor’s NRL team.

The NRL side, which also included Preston Campbell, Robbie Kearns and Tohu Harris, was outplayed by Team AFL, made up of Barry Hall, Brent “Boomer” Harvey, Jack Viney and Kevin Sheedy (pictured).

After welcoming towering team captains Barry Hall and Wendell Sailor to face off for round one, host Grant Denyer resorted to using a step for some much-needed extra height.

With the first round going to team NRL, the AFL team were hoping to gain some much-needed points in round two. The question “Name something you watch with strangers” stumped Kevin Sheedy

The AFL were unstoppable for the remaining rounds, going on to win the game 535 points to the NRL’s 152. Brent Harvey and Barry Hall stepped up to the plate for Fast Money duties and scored over 200 points in a team effort, netting $30,000 in total for their charity, Blue September.

Team NRL did not go home empty-handed, collecting $10,000 for their charity, Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Next Monday’s episode of All Star Family Feud will see the MasterChef Australia judges take a break from the kitchen to take on past contestants.

Playing for Sacred Heart Mission, team captain Gary Mehigan will be hoping to lead his fellow judges Matt Preston and George Calombaris alongside MasterChef Australia mentor Shannon Bennett to victory. MasterChef Australia alumni Julie Goodwin will captain fellow past contestants Brent Owens, Emma Dean and Dani Venn and will be playing For Cure MND Foundation.
